Learners will be able to:

• Identify the maximum number of real solutions for a quadratic equation based on its exponent. • Factorise a quadratic expression that has been set equal to zero using the zero factor theorem. • Apply the zero factor theorem to find two possible values of x in a quadratic equation. • Solve a quadratic equation by ensuring one side is equal to zero and then factorising the non-zero side. • Identify the solutions to a quadratic equation as the values of x that make the equation true.
