Learners will be able to:

• Identify the exponent law for multiplying terms with the same base raised to various exponents. • Apply the exponent law of adding exponents when multiplying terms with the same base. • Rewrite expressions involving division of terms with the same base using the exponent law of subtracting exponents. • Explain how to handle raising a power to another exponent by multiplying the exponents. • Simplify expressions where bases are raised to the exponent of zero.
