Learners will be able to:

• Identify the trigonometric ratios that can be applied to right-angle triangles in a given diagram. • Calculate the length of side BD using the tangent ratio and given information. • Determine the length of AB by applying the tangent ratio to triangle ABC. • Solve for the length of AD by subtracting the calculated length of BD from AB.
