Properties of a Parallelogram

Learners will be able to:

• Identify the properties of a parallelogram, including opposite sides being equal and parallel. • Describe how diagonals bisect the area of a quadrilateral. • Explain that opposite angles in a parallelogram are equal. • Sketch a diagram showing how a diagonal divides a quadrilateral into two congruent triangles. • State that diagonals in a parallelogram bisect each other.
