Representing Ungrouped Data using a Bar and Compound Bar Graph

Learners will be able to:

• Identify the characteristics of a bar graph and its limitations in representing data. • Describe the purpose and application of a compound bar graph in comparing two sets of data. • Construct a bar graph from ungrouped data, using whole number values. • Interpret the information presented in a bar graph, including the frequency of data in each category. • Compare and contrast the representation of data in both a bar graph and a compound bar graph.
