Measures of Central Tendency for Grouped Data

Learners will be able to:

• Calculate the mean of grouped data by adding up the frequency multiplied midpoints and dividing by the sum of frequencies. • Identify the position of the median in a dataset by dividing the total frequencies by 2. • Determine the interval that contains the mode by identifying the number of floors that occurs most frequently among the buildings.
