• Define an experiment in the context of probability. • Identify and describe the sample space (S) and its size (NS) for a given experiment. • Explain the concept of an outcome of an experiment and distinguish it from an event (E). • Describe the relationship between an event (E) and its total number of outcomes (NE). • Apply the terminology to a specific example, such as flipping a coin.
