Learners will be able to:

• Identify the set of A union B from a Venn diagram. • Determine the set of the complement of A union B by identifying numbers that do not appear in A or B. • Describe the set of A intersection B as all outcomes existing in the overlap of A and B. • Calculate the set of the complement of A intersection B by finding numbers outside of the overlap. • Explain the concept of complementary events using a Venn diagram.
