Union and Intersection
Learners will be able to:
• Identify the sample space using curly brackets and including every possible outcome. • Describe a set in terms of its elements, as shown in Set A (A = 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 13, 14, 16, 18) and Set B (B = 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17, 18). • Identify the union of two sets by combining all elements that appear in both sets. • Identify the intersection of two sets by determining the common elements within their overlap.
