• Draw a Venn diagram to represent information about learners' subject choices. • Identify and allocate variables to unknown numbers of learners in a Venn diagram. • Solve for the number of learners who take all three subjects using given totals and equations. • Calculate the value of Y, representing the number of learners who take maths and French. • Determine the number of learners who take French only by solving an equation involving Z.
