Metric Introduction and Length

Learners will be able to:

- Identify the two measurement systems used in South Africa (metric and imperial). - Explain the importance of understanding both measurement systems for conversions. - Convert between millimeters, centimeters, meters, and kilometers using multiplication and division by factors of 10, 100, and 1,000. - Apply conversion rules to change units from smaller to larger or vice versa. - Calculate conversions between different units of length (e.g. cm to mm, m to km) with accuracy.
