Street Maps

Learners will be able to:

- Identify the key features of a street map, including special places and street names. - Describe the difference between a street map and a complex map. - Interpret symbols on a map, such as those representing petrol stations, clinics, hotels, and schools. - Give directions using landmarks and road names, rather than up or down. - Calculate the size of stands in a caravan park by reading numbers on each stand. - Apply knowledge of map symbols to answer questions about specific locations.
