Frequency Tables
Learners will be able to:
- Identify the frequency of a particular data value as the number of times it occurs. - Create a frequency table by listing items and showing the number of times they occur. - Explain that a frequency distribution table is a method to organize data in a meaningful way. - Use tally marks to count the number of times an item occurs and convert them into numerical values for the frequency column. - Group information together when drawing up frequency tables, using categories such as ranges or levels. - Subdivide columns to differentiate facts further by adding additional variables, such as sex.
