In this live Grade 12 Life Sciences show we consider the following aspects of human evolution - Interpretation of a phylogenetic tree to show the place of the family Hominidae in the animal kingdom; Characteristics that we share with other primates; Characteristics that make us different from other primates. We also look at the 'Out of Africa' hypothesis and the contribution of African fossils to the understanding of human evolution.
