General Solution

Learners will be able to:

• Determine the general solution for sin(A) = 0.7, correct to 1 decimal place. • Find a reference angle using a calculator and the sine function. • Use the period of the sine graph to write an equation for all possible solutions for A. • Place a ratio in the correct quadrant on the Cartesian plane to find the general solution. • Substitute different values for k into the general solution equations to find specific angles along the sine graph.
