Solving Triangles Finding Angles

Learners will be able to:

• Identify the hypotenuse of a right angle triangle. • Determine the adjacent and opposite sides of an interior angle in a right angle triangle. • Use trigonometric ratios to calculate the value of cos theta given the lengths of the adjacent side and the hypotenuse. • Calculate the value of an interior angle using a calculator, given the value of cos theta. • Solve for the measure of an interior angle in a right angle triangle, correct to 1 decimal place.
