Linear Number Patterns

Learners will be able to:

• Identify the characteristics of a linear number pattern. • Extend a given linear number pattern by three and two terms. • Determine the general rule for a linear number pattern using the formula Tn = -5n + 25. • Apply the general term (Tn) to find the value of any term in the sequence. • Interpret the relationship between the position of each term and its corresponding value.
