Triangles

Learners will be able to:

• Identify the different types of triangles (scalene, isosceles, equilateral) based on their sides and angles. • Describe the properties of each type of triangle (e.g. equal sides, equal angles). • Calculate the measure of each angle in an equilateral triangle. • Explain how a right-angled triangle is defined. • Identify and describe the relationship between an exterior angle and its two interior opposite angles. • Apply the formula to calculate the area of a triangle given its base and height.
