Learners will be able to:

• Recall the definition of probability as the study of how likely it is that an event will occur. • Identify the range of values for probability (between 0 and 1). • Explain why most events cannot be predicted with total certainty. • Calculate the probability of an event A occurring using the formula: probability of A = number of ways to get A / total number of possible outcomes. • Describe how probability can be shown on a scale.
