• Identify isomers as compounds with the same molecular formula but different structural formulas. • Name isomers and explain that they have a different name compared to non-isomers. • Classify positional isomers based on the difference in position of a functional group or substituent. • Distinguish between chain isomers, which differ in the length of the main chain, and other types of isomers. • Explain how functional isomers exist between specific homologous series.
