• Identify examples of acids found in everyday life, including citric and malic acid in fruits and vegetables, hydrochloric acid in swimming pools, and ethanoic acid in vinegar. • Explain the difference between concentration and strength of an acid, and provide examples to illustrate this concept. • Describe the role of bases in everyday life, including their use in soaps, detergents, and industrial chemicals. • Identify indicators that can be used to determine the equivalence point of a neutralization reaction. • Explain how acids and bases interact with each other, including the process of neutralization and the importance of maintaining acid-base balance in various systems.
