Ohms Law

Learners will be able to:

• Describe the relationship between resistance, potential difference, and current in an electrical circuit using Ohm's Law. • Calculate the resistance of a conductor given its potential difference and current using the equation R = V/I. • Identify the characteristics of Ohmic conductors and non-Ohmic conductors based on their V-I or I-V graphs. • Plot a graph of potential difference against current to determine the resistance of an Ohmic conductor. • Apply Ohm's Law to solve problems involving electrical circuits, including determining the resistance of a conductor given its potential difference and current.
