Learners will be able to:

• Identify the purpose of the table of standard reduction potentials in determining electrochemical reactions. • Explain how to use the reversible arrow in the middle of redox reactions to indicate oxidation and reduction. • Determine the strongest reactant substance on each side of a reaction using the arrows next to the table. • Write down redox reactions by reading from the chosen substance across, indicating oxidation or reduction. • Identify oxidizing and reducing agents based on their ability to cause oxidation or reduction in other substances.
