Learners will be able to:

• Identify renewable energy sources, including wind, water (hydro), solar and biofuels. • Explain how wind, water and solar energy are used to generate electricity. • Describe how biofuels are produced from decomposing plant and animal waste. • Discuss advantages and disadvantages of each renewable energy source. • Explain why renewable energy sources produce less pollution than fossil fuels.
